Competing for the Best Supporting Actor honor are

Christian Bale for "The Fighter," Andrew Garfield for "The Social Network," Jeremy Renner for "The Town," Sam Rockwell for "Conviction," Mark Ruffalo for "The Kids Are All Right" and Geoffrey Rush for "The King's Speech."


The 16th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards are to be handed out Jan. 14 at the Hollywood Palladium.

This is the fourth year in a row VH1 will broadcast the gala live on the network and the first year the show will also be broadcast internationally.

"Black Swan" received an unprecedented 12 nominations Monday, the group said. The film was nominated for Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, Best Costume Design, Best Makeup, Best Sound and Best Score.

"True Grit" and "The King's Speech" followed close behind with 11 nominations each. "Inception" received 10 nominations and "The Social Network" garnered nine.

The Best Picture nominees are "127 Hours," "Black Swan," "The Fighter," "Inception," "The King's Speech," "The Social Network," "The Town," "Toy Story 3," "True Grit" and "Winter's Bone."

In the running for the Best Actor award are Jeff Bridges for "True Grit," Robert Duvall for "Get Low," Jesse Eisenberg for "The Social Network," Colin Firth for "The King's Speech," James Franco for "127 Hours" and Ryan Gosling for "Blue Valentine."

Shortlisted for the Best Actress prize are Annette Bening for "The Kids Are All Right," Nicole Kidman for "Rabbit Hole," Jennifer Lawrence for "Winter's Bone,"Natalie Portman for "Black Swan," Noomi Rapace for "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and Michelle Williams for "Blue Valentine."

Competing for the Best Supporting Actor honor are

Christian Bale for "The Fighter," Andrew Garfield for "The Social Network," Jeremy Renner for "The Town," Sam Rockwell for "Conviction," Mark Ruffalo for "The Kids Are All Right" and Geoffrey Rush for "The King's Speech."

Vying for the Best Supporting Actress title are Amy Adams for "The Fighter," Helena Bonham Carter for "The King's Speech," Mila Kunis for "Black Swan," Melissa Leo for "The Fighter," Hailee Steinfeld for "True Grit" and Jacki Weaver for "Animal Kingdom."

Nominated for the Best Acting Ensemble award are the casts of "The Fighter," "The Kids Are All Right," "The King's Speech," "The Social Network" and "The Town."

Up for Best Director are Darren Aronofsky for "Black Swan," Danny Boyle for "127 Hours," Joel Coen and Ethan Coen for "True Grit," David Fincher for "The Social Network," Tom Hooper for "The King's Speech" and Christopher Nolan for "Inception."


Awesome stuff man. I'm so happy he was nominated cause man he really stole the movie and man he was fooking awesome in it
